Michael Jackson Dedicating a Song to Yoshiaki

Michael Jackson Dedicating a Song to Yoshiaki

On This Day in MJJ HIStory 1987: Michael dedicated Japanese leg of "Bad" tour to Yoshiaki Hagiwara, a 5 year old boy, kidnapped and murdered while Michael was touring in Japan. Michael heard about Yoshiaki before his concerts there, and speaks a few words of hope:
"Yoshiyaki, I know you're out there watching us.
I hope such a brutal and heartbreaking thing will never happens again.
And I love you."~MJ♥

Michael made a donation of $20,000 to the grieving family, and he later dedicated 'Man In The Mirror' to the memory of Yoshiaki, where a portion of Michael's royalties from the record is donated to "Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times", a camp for children with cancer.
