Michael Jackson still the King of Pop in MTV VMA poll

As part of its ongoing efforts to draw your attention the MTV Video Music Awards,
airing 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, MTV invited fans to vote on their favorite all-time
VMA moments. And Michael Jackson cleaned up, winning Most Iconic VMA
Performance and Best VMA Performance.
Jackson did not sweep the voting, though. His awkward kissing of Lisa Marie
Presley, the woman he married because her father was the King of Rock,
managed to lose the Most Outrageous VMA Moment to Madonna
kissing Britney Spears and slipping some c
ross-generational tongue to Christina Aguilera.
More than 15 million votes were cast, and although it's hard to argue with
those Jackson wins (the man could work a stage), some other victories
were kind of silly.

On the other hand, Lil Kim beat Lady Gaga's meat dress just by spilling out
of her top with such videogenic pizzazz to take home Wildest VMA Outfit Ever.
The Killers, for example, won Best VMA Rock Performance, beating Nirvana,
which is possibly the dumbest thing that's ever happened.
Here's a full list of the winners:
