An excited and animated La Toya Jackson stopped to talk to HLN's Jane Velez-Mitchell on her way out of the Los Angeles County courthouse Monday and said "Michael loves everybody out here. I love him. We all love him. And guess what, he was in that courtroom and that’s why victory was served."
Jackson's cardiologist Dr. Conrad Murray was convicted for involuntary manslaughterin the pop star's death and many members of Jackson's family were in court to hear the verdict.
"Thank you America. Thank all the fans," La Toya continued. "Thank the prosecuting team. [Prosecution attorney David] Walgren you were great."
La Toya was one of several Jackson family members to speak to HLN while leaving court.
"Justice was served, yes," said Michael's brother Jermaine Jackson. "It wasn’t enough time though. Michael is with us."
Michael's parents Joe and Katherine Jackson made quick exits from court, ignoring the commotion and requests for comment.
However, Michael's sister Rebbie Jackson summed up the feelings of many Jackson fans swarming the courthouse, telling HLN "I’m just happy it’s over with. Nothing will bring him back, but I’m just happy he was found guilty."
