- He only invited his mother, Jermaine and Margaret for a tour of Margaret wondered why Joseph wasn't there.
She talked about it to Katherine who asked Michael. He told her that she knows
he doesn't want Joseph there and she knows why.
- One funny story:
Then there was Bubbles the chimp. When Bubbles wasn't with his trainer, he would live with Michael in his room dressed in diapers and clothing,
just like a little kid. Once a new nanny went into the laundry room looking for
a clean outfit for my son and mistakenly dressed him in one of Bubble's costume,
all of which Michael had custom-made.
- Michael's room was the largest in the house and was two-story high. He had his own jacuzzi and a
private entrance where he can come and go as he pleased.
-Michael once told his mom he wouldn't leave their Encino home until he could purchase the
house of his dream five times over. 'He wanted to make sure after he left that
he would never have come back to Havenhurst''.
- She talks about the little zoo they had. Margaret said that the animals all looked as if they were out of a Disney cartoon. There was also a giraffe but the
neighbors complained that he was eating the tops of their trees and Michael had
to give him away. He wasn't very happy about it.
- I think its in 1989, she talks about her two kids growing older and needing a new
place:
''At the same time, Michael bought a condo at the 14th floor of the Westford on Wilshire Boulevard because he was required to be in town for
business and wanted a place to stay. His new condominium was a large, modern
three bedroom place his nephews nicknamed ''The Hideout'' It was nice but
nothing fancy. ''
It was the favorite place of Tito's children
-When he was in the hospital Margaret brought Michael some clothes:
..When I returned, my gift were received with thanks and an invitation to leave.
Elizabeth was going to visit and Michael wanted some privacy. Jermaine made a
wisecrack about Elizabeth and was quickly put in his place. ''Don't ever talk
bad about Elizabeth Taylor to me, Jermaine,'' Michael said softly. ''She's
beautiful. The most beautiful woman I've ever met.''
By this time Michael and Elizabeth were already acquainted, but their friendship would grow closer
during his brief stay in the hospital. She came for visits several times a day
and sometimes brought him violets, which stood in sweet contrast to the dozen
black roses LaToya had had delivered from London.
- She said that Michael's negotiations with Babyface and L.A Reid changed his relationship with
Jermaine forever and that Jermaine's song created a rift that continues to this
day.
She doesn't blame Michael because he acted as a shrewd business man as he should be.
Jermaine tried to contact Michael several times after he learned that Babyface and Reid were working for Michael but his calls were not
returned.
The morning after the song was leaked Michael came to Havenhurst to talk to Jermaine in the Trophy room, Katherine came to mediate.
Katherine told Margaret that Jermaine had been mean Michael who was crying wondering why
he did this.
(I'm quoting now) Katherine said Jermaine slammed his hand down on the table and said, ''You're just mad because it's my turn now. Somebody else
is getting some of the spotlight.''
Michael told him he was his brother and how could he write such things about him. He ask Jermaine to not release this
song for his own career. It won't ruin Michael's career but ruin Jermaine's. He
gave Jermaine the number of to his trailer for his next video so he can call and
tell him he won't release this as a single.
Jermaine never call and said that its time that someone out some ''fire under his ass'' That Michael wasn't
''the only one who can bring some heat''. Jermaine thought he would make a
career out of it.
-Margaret later found out that Katherine blamed her for the whole debacle.The spouses always took the blame for the Jacksons'
wrongdoings.
- Its Katherine who handled Michael and Janet so they could sign their life rights into The Jacksons: An American Dreams. But they
made several demands thorugh attorneys and Michael insisted for someone
beautiful to play his mother.
-The family knew about the vitiligo years before the Oprah interview. Joe and Katherine were stunned by Michael's
candor in this interview and Joe was depressed when Michael said he felt
nauseous at the sight of his father. Michael gave him a Range Rove as a
gift.
-She said that nothing she has seen in Michael duirng the years she knows him would suggest he would be capable of molesting children. It was
absurd.
-Jermaine, Katherine and Joseph flew to Taiwan where Michael was performing. Jermaine brought the letter of intent for the Jackson Family Honor
show and he made Michael signed it. Katherine was angry at Jermaine and Joseph
for hounding Michael has he was treated for exhaustion and fed
intravenously.
-In November 1994 her sons joined Michael, Taj, Terrell and T.J in Chicago for photoshoots for his new album and Michael made sure that
her sons checked in with her every night. Michael would talk to her and she said
he sounded happy with his life again.

- After that Michael and his nephews made a trip to Minneapolis via a coach car. On the last call, Jourdynn complained that Uncle Michael had locked himself in his cabin and wouldn't let them in. I knew the feeling. I could imagine what it was like to be trapped with them for several days and nights on a train. ''He's meditating,'' Jermey informed me. And wehen I asked if he knew what ''meditating meant, he said he did: Its when Uncle Michael locks himself in his room in the dark and tells un not to make a sound.'' Close enough. The most incredible detail of the trip, however, wasn't revealed until it eas over. When Jeremy and Jourdynn came back home, armed with new toys, I asked to see their schoolwork. As promised, it was completed and perfect. When I asked who helped them with their papers, they replied in unison: ''Uncle Michael!'' - Michael invited her kids to Neverland after Christmas. He was going to itnroduce them to their new cousins and his wife of 6 months Lisa Marie. The kids went there and they were happy. -Weeks later she received a call form a writer she knew for a long time Ruth Robinson. She said there was a story around that there's a videotape of him molesting one of her sosn and that she had the tape. It wasn't true and Margaret wanted the story to stop. Ruth said that it was someone from the National Enquirer who alerted her and that it was this paper who would runthe story. Ruth cross-connected Margareth to the woman and she denied the story. She threatened the paper also. They never ran the story but Hard Copy did and Diane Dimond reported that authorities were reopening the case. She made alleagations to KABC-AM on a morning talk show hosted by Roger Barkley and Ken Minyard. Dimond's claims were based on the words of a freelance writer named Victor Gutierrez and the story was a total lie. None of it was true. There was no tape, Michael never paid her for her silence and he never molested Jeremy. One morning she received a subpoena from Paramount studios, which produced Hard Copy. - Her final words on Michael: The only Jakson who inquires about Jeremy and Jourdynn's welfare is Michael, the busiest Jackson of them all. He has a new album, a new wife, and his own ready-made family but has expressed a desire to help my sons. He didn't do it out of a sense of responsability or legal commitment; he did it out of love. The King Of Pop has the kindest heart of all. |
