Although sad, I am so glad they played this tape for two reasons:
#1. It proves that he was not a pedophile but someone that loved and wants to help children. Pedophile don't sit up and dream about building a giant children's hospital to help depressed children.

#2. It proves that he hurt but was not contemplating suicide. He believed that God had a mission for him to help children.
